There Will Come Soft Rains
Modern myths of creation and destruction. Competing inventors, brilliant machines, dreams of the past and nightmares of the future. Stories by Ray Bradbury, Stanislaw Lem, Bill Pronzini & Barry N. Malzberg adapted for the stage, with bunraku-style and shadow puppetry, lightbulbs and water, actors and an upright bass.
There Will Come Soft Rains had its world premiere at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival, where it played to sell-out crowds and rave reviews. The production won an award from the festival for Outstanding Direction, and went on to play a five-performance extension at the Barrow Street Theatre.
